Why not?

Write the play, but you don't necessarily have to play the game like everyone else does . . . write it and be comfortable with what you choose to do afterwards . . .

Do it for yourself and at the end of the day, at least you have something you enjoy.

Life is change . . . whatever plays you do or don't write, life is not going to be as it was, it's only as it is or will be . . .

That's my advice.

I'm astonished at how it seems to be coming around again. I don't want to be a playwright. I don't want to be a theater person. Maybe I'll just be a writer who writes secret plays.

That's the thing, many people want to put you in that playwright box, because you write plays and such . . .

But we don't have to go into the box just because they say so . . . we are more than that, we are brothers, sisters, mothers and fathers, sons and daughter and we've got many things we're passionate about . . .

Lot's of great playwrights weren't necessarily "theatre people" as it were . . . so we don't have to be, either, if we wish otherwise . . .

Oh, and Merry Christmas!
